Ruth Bassett (b. 1856)

Ruth Bassett, Charwoman, was born in South Kilworth.  Ruth was christened in South Kilworth on 7 Dec 1856, the youngest daughter of Charles and Comfort Bassett.

Ruth firstly married Edward Malliband (var. Mallabone) in South Kilworth in 1875.

Ruth and Edward Malliband had the following children:

• Albert Edward, b. 1878 in South Kilworth

Edward died in 1880 at the age of 34. Ruth, living on Walcote Road, South Kilworth in 1881 secondly married Thomas Tansur later in 1881. They had xx children.

Thomas Tansur died in 1903 and in 1905 Ruth married Thomas Reynolds.
