Rachel Tansur(e), was born in 1812 and christened on 17 May 1812 in South Kilworth, the daughter of Walter and Ann Tansur(e) and twin sister of Comfort Tansur(e).

Rachel married Allen Voss on 12 Jun 1832 in South Kilworth. 

Allen Voss was probably christened Allen Vaus on 17 Dec 1809 in Shawell, Leicestershire, the son of William and Lydia Vaus.

Rachel and Allen had the following children:

• Sarah, christened 23 Dec 1832 in South Kilworth
• Ann, christened 12 Nov 1843 in Misterton, Leicestershire (b. 1841, South Kilworth?)

Allen Voss died in 1845.  In 1881 Rachel was living in the village of Misterton, Leicestershire.

Rachel died in 1889 in South Kilworth at 77 years of age.
