Frederick Tanser, was born in Sheffield, South Yorkshire on 22 Mar 1914.  He married Alice Murfin (b. 1916 - d. 2006) in Sheffield, on 5 Nov 1942.

They had the following children:

  • Marie Elaine, b. 1944, Sheffield, South Yorkshire
  • Frank, b. 1947, Sheffield, South Yorkshire
