Frederick Sidney Tanser was born in Swinford, Leicestershire in 1896.  He married Bertha Walden in Brixworth, Northamptonshire in 1921 (bef 31 Mar 1921).

Frederick and Sidney had the following children:

  • Edwin Frederick b. 1922, Swinford, Leicestershire
  • Sidney Thomas d. 8 Jun 1944, France
