Edward Tansur, Groom, was christened on 8 Feb 1835 in South Kilworth, Leics, the son of Don and Mary Tansur.

Edward married Rebecca Brett in Birmingham in 1860. They had the following children:

  • Charles Edward, b. 1867, Aston, Warwickshire, Errand Boy, married in 1891, Aston, Warwicks
  • William, b. 1869, Birmingham, d. 1918, Aston
  • James Henry, b. 1879, Birmingham

In 1881 Edward and Rebecca were living at 1 Back House, Newton Street, Birmingham, with his younger brother Walter Tansur (b. c 1851), a General Labourer.

Edward died in 1888 in Aston.
