Edward Bassett, Labourer, was born in South Kilworth in 1851.  Edward married Ann XXXX.

They had the following children:

• Emily Ann, b. 1876 in South Kilworth, Leicestershire
• Percy John, b. 1879 in South Kilworth, Leicestershire

In 1881 the family were living at New Cottage, South Kilworth.
